What is Defibrillation?
Defibrillation is a process in
which an electronic device gives
an electric shock to the heart.  
This helps reestablish normal
contraction rhythms in a heart
having dangerous arrhythmia or
in cardiac arrest.  In recent years
small portable defibrillators have
become available.  These are
called Automated External
Defibrillators or AED's.
Powerheart AED G3 Pro Rechargeable Battery
Enables the Powerheart AED G3 Pro to deliver more shocks over its lifetime (60 shocks minimum, 100 is typical) and increases the duration of the ECG display (3 hours minimum, 6 is typical). The 1 lb. 3 oz. battery does not require any maintenance, and has a battery life of 2.5 years or 300 battery charge discharge cycles, whichever come first.
